Blair Bacon
Policy Analyst
(She/Her/Ella)
Blair is thrilled to join CFI as a policy analyst. An advocate and graduate of the Tax Ambassadors program, she has admired CFI’s work for several years. She is a detail-oriented critical thinker who is passionate about racial and economic equity, inspired by her background in ethnic studies, Spanish, women’s studies and social work.
Beginning her career in direct service at health-focused nonprofits, Blair then earned her Master of Social Work from Colorado State University, transitioning into research and evaluation. She enjoys working on innovative projects like evaluations of the tiny home village in Globeville, safe parking programs, and a soft launch of the Denver Basic Income Project, and others related to housing and homelessness, mental health and aging.
Blair’s background in direct service and research informs her policy analysis and advocacy work. She is elated to support CFI’s work to advance equity-focused fiscal and economic policies that support working families and dismantle barriers to shared wealth and power in Colorado.
Blair cherishes time spent with her favorite beings, eating good food, going to concerts, dancing, laughing and being outside.
