The Gazette quoted CFI on our opposition to Amendment 71, also known as Raise the Bar. Amendment 71 would make it more difficult to amend the state’s constitution by requiring petitioners to obtain signatures from at least 2 percent of voters in each of Colorado’s 35 state senate districts. These new requirements would make running a signature gathering campaign a million-dollar endeavor, putting the power into the hands of the wealthy interests.
