CFI is quoted on proposed marijuana tax increase

Gov. John Hickenlooper proposed a marijuana tax increase to help with the K-12 funding gap in Colorado. This proposal would increase the special sales tax on recreational marijuana from its current rate of 10 percent to 12 percent. The Fort Morgan Times quoted CFI’s Economist, Chris Stiffler, on what this means for the consumer. “{For} a $20 pack of edibles, you’re probably talking about another dollar in taxes.”
