Pueblo Chieftain quotes CFI on minimum wage report
The Pueblo Chieftain quoted CFI on the major faults of a study that calls for 90,000 job losses due to a raise in Colorado’s minimum wage. This is a common argument for opponents on raising the minimum wage; however, this argument does not hold water. A large volume of studies show little to no effect on jobs as a result of raising the minimum wage. The reports that do call for major job losses, carefully choose which studies to include and ignore in their analysis. As a result, they are providing inaccurate conclusions.
