Public News Service cites CFI in a piece covering the Corporate Responsibility Act. The Corporate Responsibility Act is a bill that would fine large businesses who are paying employees less than $12 an hour and not offering health insurance. If this bill were to pass, the state would have an additional $80 to $130 million each year in federal matching funds to cover Medicaid costs.
