Some of CFI’s comments on TABOR were mentioned in a piece by NEA Today, discussing North Carolina’s upcoming decision to adopt a TABOR-like law. Many people are opposed to this as they look to Colorado as an example of what TABOR can do to a state’s economy. As a result of Colorado’s tight budget and poor rankings for school funding and transportation, many North Carolina residents are fearful adopting TABOR to their already struggling economy will cause them to fall even farther behind.
