Las Angeles Times quotes CFI on bill that would offset Medicaid costs

CFI was quoted by the Las Angeles Times in an article about low-wage workers taking the streets to fight for a $15 minimum wage. In addition to their fight, there is a lot of talk about a new proposed bill that will act as a method to lift the burden of low paying jobs off of taxpayers and onto the large corporations that are paying their employers too low of wages. This bill is aimed at corporations such as McDonalds and Walmart who do not provide their employees with healthcare or with high enough wages to afford it on their own, forcing more taxpayer dollars to fund Medicaid and food stamps.
