KRDO quotes CFI on marijuana tax refunds

Next week, Colorado voters will vote for a third time on whether the state’s tax revenue from marijuana sales should go towards schools. Although the state’s marijuana tax revenue for the fiscal year was lower than anticipated, the state underestimated the total tax revenue, triggering a provision under TABOR that now requires the voters to vote again on whether this money should be refunded or if it should go to schools.
