Desde la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica y la vivienda hasta los cuidados a largo plazo y los programas p\u00fablicos, las necesidades de los adultos mayores de Colorado est\u00e1n creciendo m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido que los sistemas dise\u00f1ados para atenderlas. Este informe analiza la demograf\u00eda actual y prevista, as\u00ed como los gastos estatales, desde la perspectiva del envejecimiento, centr\u00e1ndose en los \u00e1mbitos en los que las inversiones p\u00fablicas est\u00e1n dando resultados y en aquellos en los que se est\u00e1n quedando cortas. Sin una acci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica intencionada, los costos relacionados con el envejecimiento aumentar\u00e1n, el crecimiento de los ingresos se ralentizar\u00e1 y m\u00e1s adultos mayores de Colorado se enfrentar\u00e1n a necesidades insatisfechas.
