On February 1st, Amazon, the country’s largest online retailer began collecting Colorado’s 2.9 percent sales tax. However, as explained in this article from The Denver Post, who cites CFI, this additional tax collection may not result in revenue for the state if it has to be issued as taxpayer rebates under TABOR.
