For a single, fast-food worker, you would have to work 62 hours a week to afford the basics of an urban life; that number jumps to about 100 hours per week if you have a child. Many low wage workers have experienced decreases or stagnation in their wages over the last decade, making it difficult to afford living in Colorado.
