Colorado Independent cites CFI on school finance

The Colorado Independent ran a piece discussing the potential changes this year’s election could have on Colorado policies. Currently in Colorado, Democrats control the House and Republicans control the Senate, but that could all change depending on the election results. If the balance of power flips, this could affect everything from environmental to healthcare to state budget policies.
School funding has been a popular topic of conversation when it comes to the state budget and CFI’s research was cited when discussing Colorado’s place amongst the nation with regards to per-pupil spending.
