Colorado economists support Amendment 70

CFI’s economist, Chris Stiffler, and 19 other prominent economists from Universities and think tanks around Colorado, wrote a letter in the Colorado Times Recorder in support of Amendment 70. This amendment would gradually raise the state’s minimum wage from $8.31 to $12 by 2020. All 20 economists conclude that raising the minimum wage would not cause any significant job losses and would even help boost the state’s economy as low-wage workers spend their extra earnings.
