CFI was mentioned in a story ran by Chalkbeat.org, discussing the recent passing of a “pay for success” bill. This bill will allow the state to introduce pay for success programs where private investors or philanthropists would fund social service programs. If these programs generated government savings in other services, the funders would be repaid; however, if they generated losses, the funders would have to accept the costs.
