The Gazette mentioned CFI as a large contributor to the fight against Amendment 71 in a piece discussing the odd coalition that was formed to stop this measure. Special interests, advocacy groups and individuals from all backgrounds and beliefs joined together in hopes to stop Amendment 71 in its tracks. Ultimately, this coalition of “odd bedfellows” fell short to the vast resources of the other side.
