The Gazette quoted CFI’s Communications Director, Tim Hoover, in their announcement of the passage of Amendment 71. This Amendment will make it harder to amend the constitution by increasing the signature requirements to get a measure on the ballot and increasing the voter approval requirement. CFI was a part of a large and diverse coalition opposed to this measure, who believe this Amendment weakens the power of the people.
