Durango Herald quotes CFI on marijuana tax rebates

CFI’s economist Chris Stiffler, was quoted by the Durango Herald in their piece about TABOR forcing Colorado to return all of the marijuana tax revenue instead of putting it into schools like the voters wanted. Since the state’s estimate of the total tax revenue was off by 1 percent, TABOR requires the state to give rebates. Voters will most likely have to decide again what to do with marijuana taxes.
