CFI’s executive director Carol Hedges, was quoted by The Durango Herald in an article regarding the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to send the Taxpayers Bill of Rights (TABOR) case back to the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. The argument in this case stands on the believe that TABOR hurts representative democracy by taking away a lawmaker’s “authority to tax.”
